Hello my veteran

Hello! I am Carrie and I am here to support you to become a thriving veteran, to live your life on purpose, and to jump start you into living a kick-ass life.

I joined the Army when I was 23 as a way to help pay off my college debt. Even though that was my motivation, it was my intention to make the Army my career. That dream was cut short with an accident in jump school on the swing landing trainer. That accident eventually led to back surgery and a “see you later!”

Now what?!? I had really enjoyed military life and now the picture I had painted for myself was suddenly gone. Those same thoughts that you have been struggling with were swirling through my brain. What am I supposed to do now? Who am I without the military? What is my mission, my purpose in life moving forward? How do I create a new life for myself? What is it that I actually want out of life now that I get to choose?

I admit that I stumbled around for many years before I figured out what really lit me up. I tried several things, retail, admin, esthetician, personal trainer, nurse. You get the picture. And it’s not like life was bad. I had much to be thankful for. I just felt like there was something else I was supposed to be doing.

One day after helping a friend sort through some of life’s ups and downs, she half jokingly asked if I would be her life coach. Lightbulb moment for me! This was a way for me to use all of my seemingly disjointed life experiences in a cohesive way that would support others and add value to this world. It wasn’t long before I had enrolled and completed my certification.

In addition to being an Army veteran, I was also married to a military member for fifteen years. I have the very unique perspective of having served myself and personally experiencing the effects of long term military service on the family, spouse, and service member.

That makes me the secret weapon you want in want in your arsenal.

My life started to rapidly change when I took total responsibility for where I was in life. It wasn’t fun, but it did help me realize that if I had chosen where I was, I could also choose something else. And I did.

Once I became clear on my own values and what it was that lit me up, I was able to create a life that I was excited to live. I developed tools to help me live my best life. I got rid of my old stories that were holding me back. I invested in myself. I became clear on my purpose and the direction that I wanted my life to go.

This is more than possible for you too. It takes work and a willingness to face your shit, but what happens on the other side is a pretty kick-ass life!

As part of my purpose filled life, I offer support to you, the veteran, via one-on-one coaching, small group workshops, and as a retreat host. It would be an honor to serve you in whatever capacity best suites your needs.

Now I wake up excited to see what life has to offer me. The pieces of the puzzle are finally fitting together. My life is built around my purpose. I am doing what I once told myself was impossible. I am living a life I love and I am here to help you do the same.

Carrie has helped me realize that I am important and more than enough, just the way I am. I’ve spent most, if not all, of my life focused on others. Focusing on their needs and their thoughts of me. Never wanting to upset someone, even if it ended up hurting me in the end. This has kept me from doing the things I want to do and being the person I want to be. Thanks to Carrie I now have a new perspective on myself and my life. She’s given me the tools I need to accomplish every goal I set for myself and to make all of my dreams come true.

Are you ready to become a thriving veteran and live a life you love?
